My Awesome Trip to Cambodia

My awesome trip to Cambodia was with BAMtravels in December 2015 and I absolutely loved every moment!

First stop – the city of Phnom Penh

I landed in Phnom Penh where the travel guides Sonya and Danny met me. This city gave me a culture shock. All the scooters, tuk tuks, people everywhere and all the smells! You can really see and feel Cambodia’s history of the genocide at the killing fields and genocide museum. Also, I thought Russian Market was an exciting place, where you can purchase literally anything! And try out your bargaining skills 🙂

Second stop – Kampot town

Another cool place was the town of Kampot which had a total different vibe: a small quaint town by the river. I got to see Cambodia how I imagined it, with mountains, farm land and greenery everywhere. We took a trip to a huge cave, went tubing, and got to jump from a boat into the river! The food was delicious and the people were all friendly.

Last stop – Koh Ta Kiev Island

The last few days were spent at Koh Ta Kiev island. If you don’t know how to relax, you will have no choice but to learn. I spent my days swimming in the clear ocean, eating fresh food, and lounging around in hammocks. Island life is great!

Best Trip Ever!

Cambodia turned out to be everything I expected and more. A huge bonus was that everything was planned out for me. I did not have to worry about booking hostels, transportation or daily activities. I just had to show up and BAMtravels had organized my awesome trip to Cambodia!

I’m glad that I traveled to Cambodia with BAMtravels. Thank you Sonya and Danny for everything!

I look forward to the next tour planned — to SOUTH KOREA 🙂
